Follow Along with the Message

  1. During this time of Covid-19, we have become even more familiar with our homes. What is the favorite thing about the place that you live? The thing you most wish you could change?

  2. CS Lewis writes, “Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of - throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself.”  During this time of Covid-19, how has God been "rehabbing" the house of your life? What have you been learning?

  3. Jesus reminds the disciples that he is the "Way" to life with God. How have you found Jesus to be the way for you? What is it about his life that leads to you invest yours in following him?

  4. What are three things you can do this week to live in thanksgiving for the way, truth and life that God has given you?
